Synopsis

A blackout hits part of the North-East of France. A few hours later, 250 million Europeans are plunged in the darkness, with no light, no heater, all the bearings of modern life gone. What will Manu, surgeon at Strasbourg university hospital, do when he learns about the disappearance of his two kids stuck in a train in the middle of nowhere? What about Yann who takes advantage of this blackout to escape from his jail truck, only to face his two kids? What will Béatrice, their mother and the town’s mayor, decide to do when the chemical factory right next to the Northern districts, threatens to blow at any time? What about Franka, carrying Yann’s child, the escapist, can she birth the child all by herself?

This massive blackout backs all these characters into a corner, for better or for worse. How do you survive when chaos sets in? You can’t live for 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food. How many can you live without electricity?
